Copyright Licensing Agency (CLA)

CLA licences permit the photocopying, scanning and digital copying of limited parts from these publications without having to seek permission from the copyright owner each time.

CLA licences provide easy, legal access to trade and consumer magazines, journals, books, law reports, press cuttings, electronic and online publications and more.

ALCS receives approximately 65% of its income from the CLA.
