National Union of Journalists

ALCS works closely with the NUJ in the Writers' Organisations Advisory Group which ensures opportunities for secondary licensing are considered and taken forward appropriately.

The NUJ is a union for journalists and journalism. They are an active, campaigning organisation seeking to improve the pay and conditions of their members and working to protect and promote media freedom, professionalism and ethical standards in all media.

The NUJ was founded in 1907 and has fought for journalists, their pay and conditions, their working rights and their professional freedom ever since.
