Welcome to ALCS

You've just seen us at the Economic History Society Conference 2012, thanks for visiting our website to find out more!

We attended the conference because we were looking to meet people who have written articles, chapters or books within the area of 'Economics'.

If you've written or edited:

  • a book
  • written a chapter or essay in a book
  • written an article which has been published a journal or magazine

then you could be entitled to a share of the money that ALCS collects each year for writers in the UK.

Check to see if you are eligible

Firstly, click here to have a look at our books 'search for royalties' tool - enter the titles of any books you have written and it will show if we have collected money for that title or not.

Even if your book doesn't show up in the 'search for royalties' tool - we pay a small sum of money each year to all writers who have written or contributed to a book in the UK.

If you have written an article for a magazine in the last three years, then you are eligible to claim for a share of the income we have collected.

For further information about where the money comes from, please click here.
