ALCS at the Edinburgh TV Festival 2010
ALCS is delighted to be sponsoring The Network at the 2010 Edinburgh TV Festival.
The Network (formerly TVYP) is about making working in TV more accessible. Getting into the TV industry isn’t easy. By providing free workshops and career advice, The Network gives young people a foot on the ladder and a chance to see what working in TV is really about.
Now in its 20th year, The Network provides the opportunity to meet and learn from leading TV industry figures from scriptwriters to producers and presenters, and from programme schedulers to commissioning editors.
As part of our commitment to raising awareness of authors’ rights, ALCS is delighted to be supporting this years’ scriptwriting clinic, where scriptwriter and ALCS Member Stuart Hepburn will be available to talk to would-be writers about their ideas and stories, as well as providing feedback and advice for the future.
Screenwriter and actor Stuart has written numerous episodes of Taggart, as well as episodes of Rebus, Monarch of the Glen and much more.
