Carnegies Poster Competition 2026

Bring reading to life

ALCS invites every shadowing group to design a poster that encourages others to read. Think about the imaginative, magical power of reading, and take inspiration from this year’s shortlist.

All mediums and interpretations welcome – the more creative the better!

The winning entry will receive a £1,000 prize for its school library plus your poster will be displayed at The Carnegies Awards ceremony 2026.

How to enter

If your shadowing group would like to take part, please send your entry by 2 June 2026 along with the name of your shadowing group and contact details to either:

Unfortunately, late entries cannot be counted so please give yourself enough time for posting. By entering, you’re not assigning your copyright to us, but we would like to be able to share your poster design. If you don’t want us to share it, please let us know when you enter.
