Authors’ Earnings Survey

Just a reminder that in January, in conjunction with the CREATe research centre at the University of Glasgow, ALCS will be running another survey of authors’ earnings.

This will be the third such survey commissioned by ALCS during the past decade, building on the information gathered from previous research projects: What are Words Worth? (2007) and What are Words Worth Now? (2014).

The data provided by these surveys is vital in enabling ALCS to continue to make the case for fair terms for authors in copyright law, licences and contracts and we urge as many members as possible to take part.

Look out for the survey in the New Year.
