Educational and teacher authors! Why not lend your voice to the CLA Licence to Copy campaign?

Want to help teachers learn more about the key permissions of the CLA licence they use every day? The CLA is looking for educational and teacher authors to get involved in its campaign.

The Copyright Licensing Agency (CLA) has been busy of late with its Licence to Copy campaign. Working in tandem with publishers, it has been promoting the fact that UK schools are covered by a copyright licence, and is seeking to help teachers understand the key permissions of the licence they make use of every day.

CLA would now like to create short videos about the authors who receive royalty payments from such licences. So if you’re an educational author, or indeed a teacher-author, and would like to share the ways in which copyright, intellectual property and royalty payments are important to you, CLA would be delighted to hear from you.

If you’re interested in getting involved, please email Julie Murray at the CLA to find out more.
