MEMBER ALERT: recent changes to our processes

We've changed the way that we ask members to update their ALCS accounts – members need to be aware of this.

Security questions

When you call us from now on to make changes to your account (ones that we think other people might want to do fraudulently), we’re going to be asking you a few security questions to make sure that it’s definitely you. It won’t be anything too complicated, and nothing that we think you won’t know, but we do want to make sure that we’re keeping your information as secure as possible.

No more email updates

We’d like you to stop updating your account by email in future (sadly, people can hack their way into these), so we’d like you to log in to your online account to make changes there instead.

Your online account is secure, so we can better protect your information there.

Updating information by phone

If you’d rather update your personal details (bank account, address, that type of thing) by speaking to someone, then feel free to contact us by phone and we can do this over the phone (we will ask you some security questions, as mentioned before, and we’ll send you a confirmation email to let you know it’s been done).

Data protection and privacy policy

We’ve got a policy stating what we will and won’t do with your data.

Take a look at our privacy policy.
