ALCS responds to Government COVID-19 inquiries

ALCS has responded to calls for evidence for inquiries by the Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS), Department of Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) and Treasury Committees into the impact of the current COVID-19 pandemic.

BEIS Committee

The BEIS Committee inquiry is asking for submissions from individuals or organisations about how the COVID-19 crisis has impacted businesses and workers.

DCMS Committee

This inquiry is requesting submissions from organisations within the creative industries about the immediate impact of the pandemic, the likely long-term impact and how well DCMS has been supporting the creative industries.

Treasury Committee

The Treasury Committee inquiry is currently taking submissions about the speed, effectiveness and reach of the Government’s and Bank of England’s immediate financial responses to – and the potential long-term economic impact of – the COVID-19 crisis.
