Help us to help you: Two new ALCS surveys, including new “What are words worth?” research
Over the next couple of months we're going to be sending out two surveys to members.
The first, which will be sent out to all members next week, is designed to find out a bit more about you, and your needs as a writer as well as your views of ALCS as an organisation. We’d really appreciate it if you could complete this survey, which shouldn’t take more than 10 – 15 minutes of your time. By doing so, you can also enter a prize draw with the chance to win £450.
The second survey, which we’ll be sending out early in 2018 (and we’ll be telling you more about next month) is a new Authors’ Earnings Survey. Under the overall title, “What Are Words Worth?”, we have carried this out a couple of times before, the last time being in 2013. This vital piece of research provides valuable evidence for ALCS and other writers’ organisations to use when campaigning for authors’ rights, so we’d really appreciate your participation in this.
You can see the results of the previous authors’ earnings surveys carried out by ALCS here.
